Improve website engagement and increase modeling job bookings through the website by improving the user experience
Challenge
Improve the website user experience to streamline the process of booking models for potential jobs during a global pandemic. The Industry had close to 100k website visitors per month but still relied mostly on social media for bookings.

Solution
Add a “booking” feature each model’s online portfolio that allows website visitors to directly email the model’s booking agent to inquire about availability for jobs. I also added a feature for aspiring models to submit their portfolios.

Approach
Analytics indicated that “bookings” had a high search volume. Potential clients would reach out to models directly via social media. This put models in a vulnerable position while costing The Industry revenue.

Design
I designed an easily findable booking call-to-action embedded within each model’s online portfolio. I also made layout and hierarchy changes to the current website to improve the navigation, and user experience.

Outcomes
The Industry Model MGMT became the #1 modeling agency in Los Angeles during a global pandemic, outperforming the top agencies. I helped The Industry pivot to a temporary strategy to instruct models to do at home shoots. This allowed The Industry to keep booking jobs. As a result, The Industry gained a number of new, big name clients that remain loyal to this day.
